The Octothorpe is our original disc golf backpack, and is a favorite among players around the world. Initially released in 2015, our goal with the Octothorpe's design was to combine the comfort and durability of a mountaineering pack with the functionality of a disc golf bag. We achieved that goal by applying design techniques, material selection, and quality standards that continue to set the bar today. As a result the Octothorpe is still the most comfortable, durable, and well made disc golf backpack in the sport.
Overview of Features
The Octothorpe features a main compartment with a 20 disc capacity, and an easy to access putter pocket at the top of the bag that can hold 4-5 putters. The pack also features six external zippered storage pockets, as well as an integrated hydration sleeve with tube management for those that carry hydration bladders. The pack exterior is constructed using a combination of US-made 1000D and 500D Cordura® Nylon fabric that provides maximum durability and light weight. For those who play in all conditions, the Octothorpe is also compatible with our rainfly that features waterproof fabric and magnetic flap closures for easy pocket access.
The Deluxe Limited Edition Octothorpe has all of the features of the regular Octothorpe, but also includes a few upgrades that we originally only offered through our Custom Program. These upgraded features include wider long pockets, a zippered scorecard pocket, and Velcro loop panels on the side of the pack.

Best bag ever. I upgraded from a cheap amazon bag and there is no looking back. Yes its expensive but worth every penny in my honest opinion. Bag is big but feels lighter than anything ive carried. I played 36 holes and wasnt as tired as i usually am after. Highly recommend. I can fit roughly 20 in the main compartment. 5 putters in top pouch and i carry 2 or 3 in 1 side pocket for extras and i still have way more room than i have things to put in this bag
Lightweight, lots of storage for discs and other items you might need on the course. Very comfortable sitting on my back whether it is filled to capacity or not.
I just used the new deluxe octothorpe at the whistlers bend doubles tournament and the difference in comfort and convenience was incredible! The hype is real. This is the best disc golf bag on the market.

I wanted to love this bag, but coming from a larger bag - Empire by Westside Discs - I feel this bag lacks in functionality. This bag does not sit up easily. When on steep greens, the bag has the be placed perfectly to not fall over, especially when the water blater is full. The materials used are exceptional, the shoulder straps are unique and great for getting your opposite arm in easily. I personally do not like the feel of the bag when playing physically demanding courses. Worn high and low, both caused back pain when the rounds concluded.
